Which size do I need?
Lampshade sizes are measured by the diameter at the bottom of the shade.
- For Table lamps: match the base height to the shade diameter (e.g. a 35cm base = 35cm shade). Usually sizes XS, small and medium work perfectly.
- For Floor lamps: go for a size medium, large or XL depending on the space.
- For Pendants: consider the room size + ceiling height for best effect. Size medium for smaller rooms and large/XL for bigger rooms.

Fittings & Bulbs
Fittings & Bulbs
Our shades are compatible with both British (BC) and European (EC) fittings. Please get in touch if you have a US lamp base so we can send the correct fitting.
The shade carrier included will work with either a table or a floor lamp. To use it, simply unscrew the metal ring on your base, position your shade carrier and replace the metal ring to secure it in place. Then simply sit your lampshade on top of the shade carrier. If your lamp base is smaller, click the plastic reducer into the shade carrier.
We also include a ‘spider fitting’ so you can use your lampshade as a ceiling pendant. Simply sit your lampshade on the spider fitting and attach it to your bulb holder. If your pendant is smaller, click in the plastic reducer.
