Tell us what you're imagining and we'll make it, by hand, in our Nottinghamshire studio. It's easier than you'd think, and a lot more fun.

Found a fabric you love? Send us a little swatch and we'll let you know if it'll work, and exactly how much to send.

A different shape, an unusual size, an heirloom that's seen better days. If you can picture it, let's talk it through.
What does it cost?
Every bespoke shade is a little different, so it depends on the size, fabric and finish you choose. As a rough guide, most are around £50–£100 more than the same size from our collection. Rach will always confirm the price before anything is made, so there are no surprises.

How it works
Four simple steps

1. Say hello
Tell Rach what you have in mind. Photos of your room or lamp base are always welcome.

2. Get your samples
We'll pop free fabric and fringe samples in the post so you can see them in your own light.

3. We make it
Once you're happy with the design and price, your shade is made by hand in around 3–4 weeks.

4. Light it up
Carefully packed and sent to you, wherever you are. Then switch it on and enjoy.

Your questions, answered
How much does a bespoke shade cost?
It depends on size, fabric and finish, but most are around £50–£100 more than the same size from our collection. Rach will confirm your price before anything is made.
How long will it take?
Usually around 3–4 weeks from when you approve the design. If you have a date in mind, just let us know.
Can I use my own fabric?
Absolutely. Send us a small swatch first and we'll check it'll work and tell you how much to send. Every fabric behaves a little differently, so we always test before we start.
Will it fit my lamp?
We make shades for table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling pendants, with UK and US fittings. Send us a photo of your base and we'll make sure it's a perfect match.
Can I see the fabrics first?
Yes, and we'd encourage it. We'll send free fabric and fringe samples so you can see them in your own home.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
We do, all over the world. US orders are delivered duty paid, so there are no extra charges when your shade arrives.
